We had a nice, gentle ride from home to Karin's, spending one night on the road in Jackson, TN. The big storm, with hard rain and loud pyrotechnics, happily occurred during the night after we were tucked in, and it was over before we headed out the next morning.

We are thrilled to be here, and everyone is in good health and happy. We are so proud of our family ... here and in Japan too. The kids continue to rate all our possible grandparent-ly superlatives!!!
