Neilans

This Blog is actually just an excuse for me to have a place to post a few of my myriad and always growing collection of photos! And, a way to keep my family and friends up to date on our activities.

Stargazing (again)

This was before the Branson trip. Our Michigan friends Tom and Kathy hiked with us to Abrams Falls in Cades Cove, then we joined the other tourists in a big meadow at sunset. The Park Ranger gave a program on the stars that we could see so very clearly in the dark sky away from any light pollution.

I know, I know -- we seem to be spending a lot of time lying on the ground in the dark lately ... maybe it's a sign of our approaching old-fogey-ness.

Can't think of a better way to spend a clear night under the open sky.

Just for kicks - first glance at your hat (Lyn) it looked like a
face. How's that for a thoughtful
    comment? San
