Snake Warning!




Seeing warnings about poisonous snakes even at the Interstate highway rest areas added a bit of spice to our travels across the Southwest.

    Very frightening sign, and good picture of the (dead) snake!

    Funny - where I grew up, we just didn't have poisonous things. Didn't even really have cockroaches (which made for something of a "crash landing" in Japan:-0

    I suppose the snow storms, ice storms, winter traffic deaths and hypothermia about compensates...

    Still, Brian can't understand why I'm afraid of snakes. As he says, "just don't stick your hand in their mouth"!

    Brian was the one that WOULD stick his hand in the snake's mouth.... maybe he's grown up?!?
