Shirley is fine!

Our friend Shirley is home from the hospital (had surgery to remove a benign but large meningioma) and is feeling fine. Huge line of stitches, but they will be behind her hair line when it grows out again; only a small amount of bruising around one eye; and a sore tongue from the tubes. Her comment was: "I was so happy to realize I could still see out of both eyes, I could still think clearly, and best of all, I DIDN'T DIE!" Needless to say, she wouldn't let me take a photo ...
