Kindle Skin

I had trouble with the letters wearing off my Kindle ... I often play EveryWord, which includes lots of typing ... and after replacing it a couple of times, I finally found a protective - and beautiful - skin that actually covers the keys. As a bonus, the new skin has the letters and other keys written even more clearly. Also, the colors make it easier to find when I set it down on top of other stuff.

This man broke his neck in an accident, is paralyzed from the neck down, and is an amazing artist. He is holding the brush hand in his teeth, and is controlling it with the use of his neck muscles. The other apparati in front of his face include a "blow tube" that he uses to maneuver his wheelchair.
Although I find this particular painting a bit too "out there" for my taste, he had a tent filled with more beautiful things he has done.
Talk about refusing to accept a handicap, and getting on with your life!

Amazing sculptures at Naples Art Fair

The Art Fair, one of the top ten in the country, is juried and the displays are always impressive. This glass work was very elaborate , if not exactly my taste.

These metal ladies appeared to be floating above our heads.

Click on this one and look at the detail. This is a remarkably life-like scupture made from acrylic cast on a real human body. The clothing and props are real.
